Job Description

The Sales Engineer position serves as the glue between customer service and our public-facing sales team. The sales engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

· Creating and maintaining technical, sales, and marketing materials for MTI products.

· Maintaining MTI and MTS websites.

· Assessing existing customer needs and creating sales opportunities based on these needs.

· Attending national trade shows.

· Facilitating demonstrations with sales staff.

· Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

· A strong grasp of English grammar, both in spoken and written.

· A two- or four-year degree in a technical field is preferred.

· Picks up the use of software applications quickly.

· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, especially Word and PowerPoint.

· Must be comfortable with speaking in front of crowds and meeting new people.

· This position will require some travel, though most time will be spent in the office. The candidate must be able to travel (both driving and flying).

Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year depending on experience.
