Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving PreK through 2nd-grade students within a K-12 school setting in Winston-Salem, NC. The position spans the 2025-2026 school year and focuses on serving students with mild to severe disabilities. Caseload size and weekly hours will depend on the number of enrolled students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy services to early elementary students (PreK-2nd grade) with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to deliver effective support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district requirements.
- Adapt therapy approaches for mild to severe disabilities in pediatric populations.
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license.
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching credential.
- Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, school-based settings, and teletherapy.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Flexibility in interview scheduling and ability to make hiring decisions promptly.
