What You'll Do

As our Crew Lead, you will be the on-site face of The Cozy Penguin, responsible for ensuring every project is a 5-star experience from start to finish. You will guide a dedicated crew, interact directly with homeowners, and uphold our commitment to craftsmanship and care. Your daily responsibilities will include:

· Leading your install crew on residential insulation jobs, setting the pace for quality and efficiency.

· Managing all pre-job preparations to ensure your team has everything they need for a successful day.

· Serving as the primary point of contact for the homeowner, explaining the process and answering questions with a genuinely helpful attitude.

· Overseeing the complete installation of our services, including attic insulation (blown-in, batt, spray foam), air sealing, ventilation, dense packing walls, and basement rim joists.

· Conducting meticulous quality control checks to ensure our work meets the highest standards.

· Performing a final walkthrough with the homeowner to present the finished work and ensure their complete satisfaction.

· Utilizing our job management software (Jobber) for customer communication, project sign-offs, and payment collection.

What You Bring

We are looking for a professional who embodies our core values and is ready to lead by example. The ideal candidate will bring:

• A solid background in general construction (minimum requirement).
• Significant experience in insulation is a major plus.
• BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification is a huge plus.
• Spray Foam Insulation experience = huge plus
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew, motivate your team, and represent our brand with professionalism.
• A detail-oriented and accountable mindset, taking deep pride in your work.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• The physical ability to work in attics, basements, and tight spaces. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to lift, climb, and work in varying conditions.
