Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager – Medical Surgical for a permanent leadership opportunity in Atlantis, Florida.

This role coordinates nursing services and accepts 24/7 accountability for patient care delivery within the Medical-Surgical unit. The Nurse Manager provides leadership and supervision of clinical staff while fostering a supportive environment focused on professional development, quality outcomes, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing services and maintain accountability for care delivery across all shifts.

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing personnel, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth.

• Oversee staffing and scheduling to ensure appropriate utilization of personnel.

• Support clinical operations, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.

• Collaborate with department leadership to ensure alignment with organizational standards and goals.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Department Scope

• Medical-Surgical unit with approximately 32–36 beds

• Supported by Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) to assist with leadership responsibilities

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)

• $38.52/hour (minimum)

• $48.15/hour (mid-range)

• $53.70/hour (maximum)

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or valid compact licensure (subject to Florida licensing requirements).

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent leadership experience in an acute care setting (Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, or Nurse Manager).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.

• Strong leadership, communication, and staffing management skills.
