Job Description
HCT seeks a medical staff services professional for a hospital in California. Under the direction of the department leader, you will provide assistance with the medical staff credentialing/privileging processes.
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Education: Bachelors in healthcare field preferred</li>
<li>Experience: Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting; must have working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing including initial applications, reappointments, expirables, and meeting minutes</li>
<li>Certifications: CPCS and/or CPMSM preferred</li>
<li>Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of databases, Echo/Cactus experience required; and Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)</li>
</ul>
Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare, and rental car.
