Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Sales Manager to join our expanding team. This individual will play a pivotal role in leading enterprise sales initiatives, driving new business development, and building long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across sectors. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with a passion for identifying opportunities, crafting compelling value propositions, and closing high-impact deals.
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will take charge of the entire sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to solution presentation, negotiation, and closure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and customer success to align business goals and deliver tailored solutions to enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Sales Execution:
- Own the end-to-end sales process for enterprise accounts, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- New Business Development:
- Identify new markets, verticals, and enterprise customers to target. Generate new business through outbound strategies, strategic partnerships, industry events, and referrals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture high-level relationships with C-suite decision-makers. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales goals, market segmentation, and go-to-market strategies. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from first contact to post-sale support.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Track KPIs including revenue growth, conversion rates, and customer retention. Continuously improve sales techniques based on data insights and market feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years focused on enterprise-level engagements.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and consultative selling methodologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling SaaS, technology, or digital solutions to enterprise clients.
- Exposure to international markets or experience in handling global clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
