Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, including order processing, shipment coordination, and communication with customers, retailers, and warehouse teams. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work within a fully manual processing system.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with retailer routing teams to provide quotes and coordinate routing to distribution centers (DCs)
  • Manually create and process purchase orders (POs) and bills of lading (BOLs)
  • Assign freight classes and coordinate shipments with carriers, freight companies, or brokers
  • Enter and manage product information, purchase orders, and invoices accurately
  • Monitor order status and ensure shipments are processed and dispatched on time
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and provide updates to customers regarding order progress
  • Process sales representative orders through direct communication with retailers and support teams
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of logistics experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clerical experience in a warehouse or distribution setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Google Sheets, and EDI portals
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented

  • Fully manual processing system (no automated PO transfers)
