**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, washing dishes, utensils, and other cooking tools, as well as assisting with basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works efficiently, and contributes to a positive team environment.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
**Responsibilities:**
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
