Value Stream Manager | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $101,000 - $148,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the entire value stream to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams responsible for various stages of the value stream, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow, inventory levels, and lead times from raw materials to finished goods.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners, production, engineering, and sales to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Champion a culture of Lean manufacturing principles and practices, ensuring their consistent application and adherence.
- Identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks within the value stream, proactively addressing potential disruptions.
- Manage budget and resource allocation for value stream improvement projects and operational needs.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, analyzing, and optimizing value streams to reduce lead times and increase efficiency.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to drive change and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
- - Proven track record of implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., IIoT, AI, robotics).
- - Strong understanding of supply chain optimization and global logistics.
- - Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems.
- - Familiarity with change management methodologies and driving organizational transformation.
