\n\nSummary / Ideal Candidate\n

We are seeking a Telemetry RN / Registered Nurse with strong cardiac monitoring and acute care skills—ideal for travel nurses with prior contract experience and MEDITECH charting knowledge.

\n\nJob Requirements\n

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital experience in med/tele, telemetry, or similar acuity (acute care RN experience preferred)\n
• Successful completion of at least 1 previous travel contract (travel nursing jobs experience)\n
• Active RN license (Georgia or multi-state Compact RN license)\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n
• Proficiency interpreting cardiac rhythms (telemetry monitoring)\n
• Experience titrating drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone)\n
• Compliance with 100-mile radius rule for travelers (permanent address must be 101+ miles from facility)\n

\n\nCore Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and cardiac patients in a 23-bed Med/Tele unit\n
• Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias\n
• Titrate limited drips per protocol and administer safe medication management\n
• Collaborate with charge nurse, house supervisor, monitor techs, and interdisciplinary team\n
• Utilize respiratory therapy equipment (nasal cannulas, BiPAP, High Flow NC) and escalate care as needed\n
• Accurately document assessments and interventions using MEDITECH (EHR charting)\n
• Participate in block scheduling and self-scheduling to support unit staffing needs\n
• Float to Neurosurgical PCU on rare occasions (same ratios); demonstrated neuro/PCU adaptability a plus\n
• Adhere to unit dress code, orientation, and hospital policies\n
