Our client is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day performance across several locations. This leader keeps sites safe and compliant, pushes productivity higher, and carries full accountability for the region's bottom line, setting direction while staying close to execution on the ground in grain, storage, transportation, and agronomy.
Responsibilities:
- Run all operational functions across the region, from grain and storage through transportation and agronomy
- Build strategies that lift productivity, hold down costs, and keep customers well served
- Direct the maintenance, safety, and general operations groups and grow the talent within them
- Keep inventory clean and accurate through cycle counts, shrink control, etc.
- Bring consistency to site procedures and lead improvement efforts from location to location
- Own the regional P&L and annual budget, tracking variances and acting on them
- Hire, coach, and retain a strong team while building a culture geared toward growth
Qualifications:
- Track record running multi-site or regional operations
- Working command of grain, agronomy, logistics, and storage functions
- Hands-on experience owning a P&L and managing a budget
- Comfort with inventory control, quality oversight, and planning for seasonal labor swings
- Strong leadership instincts across recruiting, developing, and managing performance
- Roots in agriculture, grain merchandising, or the cooperative world preferred
