Supply Chain & Operations Planning Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain & Operations Planning Coordinator oversees procurement, inventory planning, and logistics to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain execution for our medical device operations. This role aligns demand forecasts with purchasing decisions, optimizes working capital, supports SKU-level analysis, and drives process standardization to support scalable growth. The position plays a key role in strengthening operational discipline and preparing the organization for long-term strategic expansion.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor degree in Business, Health Science, Technology or related fields.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in medical devices
Other: • Knowledge of FDA/ISO requirements for medical device manufacturing
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute the complete procurement cycle from ordering to receiving, evaluating supplier options, analyzing cost and performance factors, and recommending purchase decisions to leadership.
2. Maintain optimal inventory levels by monitoring demand forecasts, analyzing usage trends and SKU-level performance, and proposing planning adjustment to prevent material shortages and reduce excess inventory.
3. Coordinate all shipping operations including packaging, documentation, and carrier management, and recommend logistics improvements to optimize delivery performance and cost efficiency.
4. Develop relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners, monitoring performance related to quality, delivery reliability, and cost stability, and providing input to leadership on performance risk and improvement opportunities
5. Ensure regulatory compliance across all supply chain activities.
6. Develop and present weekly reports on key supply chain metrics (e.g. inventory levels, supplier performance, backlog status, and purchasing trends) that support operational and financial decision making.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, standardization and data accuracy.
8. Become a go to source for questions on implementation of the ERP system and recommend updates to improve accuracy, reporting capability, and efficiency.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $62,000
