- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 26, 2026 – July 26, 2026)\n
- Shift: 12-hour days (7am – 7pm); occasional charge duties; weekends as scheduled\n
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
- Orientation: 1 day with educator, 1 day with preceptor, plus 1 day for charge role orientation\n
- Parking: On-site and free\n
\n\nRequired Qualifications\n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia\n
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required\n
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travel nurses will be considered\n
- WV Cares clearance required prior to start\n
- Clinical competency in med administration, wound care, Foley catheter care, IV access (antibiotics only), PEG tube and ostomy care\n
- Ability and willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed\n
- Valid, unexpired driver’s license required (copy to be submitted)\n
- Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission\n
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n

- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a 33-bed skilled care unit (11 private, 11 semi-private rooms)\n
- Administer medications safely and accurately; perform wound care and manage IV therapies (antibiotics only)\n
- Provide PEG tube and ostomy care and catheter management\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT/SLP, pulmonary and cardiac rehab, case managers, social workers, and dietitians\n
- Assist respiratory therapists with breathing treatments and respiratory equipment as needed\n
- Float to other units within the hospital when required and participate in weekend/holiday rotations\n
- Maintain accurate documentation using Community Works EMR system\n
- Adhere to dress code: Navy scrubs for RNs\n
