We’re currently partnering with a well-established metal fabrication company in Lakeland, FL that is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring all products meet customer specifications before shipment, protecting production quality, and supporting continuous improvement efforts across the operation.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Review work orders to ensure all required operations are completed prior to inspection
- Inspect parts using blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to verify compliance
- Use calibrated measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Re-inspect reworked or remade parts to confirm they meet requirements
- Accurately document all inspection results and maintain detailed records
- Identify and document nonconforming materials
- Generate NCRs and assist with SCARs/CARs as needed
- Support root cause analysis efforts to prevent recurring issues
- Verify completion and effectiveness of corrective actions
- Track and report CAPA status to management
- Follow company Quality Policy and established procedures
- Maintain inspection logs and ensure all quality records are complete and accurate
- Monitor calibration status of inspection tools and equipment
- Ensure proper identification and handling of customer-supplied materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Who We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
- Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ability to investigate quality issues and implement process improvements to prevent recurrence
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow structured quality processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a shop environment
What You Can Expect
- $23.00 - $24.00/hr
- Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm
- Due to increased workload, also required to work Friday 5:00am – 10:00am
