Paint Prepper Tasks & Duties

• Prep material for welding including grinding, descaling, and washing parts for powder coat.

• Operate basic shop machines (grinder, drill, saws, etc).

• Lay out, positions, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler.

• Assists Welders during normal metalworking and welding operations.

• Maintains work area, tools, and equipment in a neat, clean and orderly manner.

• Segregates and periodically disposes of scrap material into approved collection containers.

Paint Prepper Shift Info

• Swing Shift, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM

• Monday - Friday

Paint Prepper Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Paint Prepper experience preferred

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to work in the US

• Able to operate industrial forklift

• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
