About the Role

Central MEP Solutions is hiring an Electrical Helper for a commercial union project in Washington, DC. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are looking to begin a career in the electrical trade and gain hands-on experience on active commercial construction sites.

You will work alongside licensed electricians and apprentices while learning the fundamentals of commercial electrical installation in a union work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with commercial electrical installations

• Support conduit bending and installation

• Pull wire and assist with cable routing

• Help install electrical boxes, fixtures, and basic components

• Load and move materials and tools around the job site

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow union guidelines and job site safety procedures

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of electrical or construction experience preferred

• Must meet union job site eligibility requirements

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Reliable transportation to Washington, DC
