- Precision & Quality: Operate and set up press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form sheet metal materials according to exact specifications and blueprints.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure precise production results by determining the appropriate tooling, dies, and gauges required for each job.
- Reliability & Accountability: Monitor machine operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and design teams to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics, ensuring successful fabrication processes.
- Commitment to Excellence: Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, performing necessary measurements and checks to verify compliance with specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and escalate more complex issues to maintenance or engineering as needed.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Efficiency & Productivity: Accurately record production data, including materials used and time spent, contributing to continuous process improvements.
What We Look for in a Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator, including setup in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- A history of job stability and reliability, demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of different sheet metal materials and their characteristics.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate parts.
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy materials up to 50 lbs and equipment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment with noise and movement.
