Job Description
We are hiring reliable General Laborers for highway and roadway maintenance assignments. This is a physically demanding outdoor role involving roadside cleanup, vegetation control, assisting with minor roadway repairs, setting up traffic control devices, and supporting safety operations in active work zones. This position requires individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
· Perform roadside cleanup (trash, debris, roadway hazards)
· Assist with mowing, trimming, and vegetation control
· Support minor roadway maintenance and repair work
· Set up and remove cones, barrels, and traffic control signage
· Assist with flagging and work zone traffic control
· Help respond to roadway incidents and storm cleanup
· Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
Requirements
· Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
· Comfortable working near traffic and in active work zones
· Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
· Ability to follow safety rules and instructions
Preferred Experience
· Construction, landscaping, warehouse, or general labor experience
· Traffic control or roadside maintenance experience
Schedule
· Full-time availability
· May include early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime
