Schedule:Part-Time | 20Hours per week

Soliant is conducting interviews foraPart TimeSchool Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team and provide essential services to students. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists to help students achieve their full potential within the school environment.

Responsibilities andQualifications:

  • Conduct prehensive assessments of students' fine and gross motor skills, functional mobility, and adaptive equipment needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and 504 plans for students requiring physical therapy services, in alignment with state and federal regulations.

  • Provide direct physical therapy interventions, both individually and in small groups, focusing on improving strength, coordination, balance, range of motion, and functional independence.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic goals into daily routines and classroom activities.

  • Remend and assist in the procurement and proper use of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications to enhance student participation and accessibility.

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and preparing accurate and timely reports.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development opportunities.

  • Educate staff and parents on physical therapy strategies and techniques to support student learning and development.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with district policies and professional standards.

  • Valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT).

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
