Come join us as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family. Specifically, we focus on an integrated autism care model tailored to young children with autism.
What You'll Do:

Serve as one of our on-site Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow and plan and implement naturalistic speech therapy for young children ages 1-5 years old in a center-based setting

Receive hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPs

Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination withother clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists)

Develop communication interventions for young clients, including but not limited to AACdevices, to support client communication

Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team, specifically collaborating with BCBAs, RBTs,occupational therapists, and mental health professionals to plan and implement effectiveprograms for young kids, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team

Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate neededchanges to team members and families

Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress,and coach and support them in their journey
Qualifications

Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy

Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
-
License to practice speech pathology

Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams

Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children

Clinical Fellows must hold a provisional Colorado license by their start date at Soar.
