At Lifepoint Rehabilitation, we’re looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team! You’ll play a vital role in providing rehabilitative care to adult and geriatric patients, implementing occupational therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Formerly known as Towanda Memorial Hospital, our facility is a proud satellite campus of Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, located just 17 miles north in Sayre, PA. Since joining Guthrie in April 2015, we have been committed to serving Bradford and Sullivan counties, ensuring easy access to essential clinical services for our surrounding communities. Our long-term care services include a 68-bed skilled nursing unit and a 94-bed personal care home.
Your Impact
As a COTA, you will:
- Take Charge: Assume responsibility for the care of patients treated by Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, rehabilitation technicians, and occupational therapy students.
- Assess and Intervene: Evaluate patient needs and initiate appropriate occupational therapy interventions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor Progress: Observe and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as necessary to meet short- and long-term goals.
- Conduct Assessments: Perform thorough assessments and timely quality improvement scoring for adult and geriatric patients.
- Manage Pain: Identify and address patient pain to enhance their rehabilitation experience.

What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Current Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
- Experience: Previous experience in occupational therapy is preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification.
