Quality Manager | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Manage supplier quality, including audits and performance monitoring.
- Oversee all quality control activities, including inspection, testing, and documentation.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and report on quality performance.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, PPAP, 8D problem-solving).
- Proven leadership and team development skills, with experience managing quality personnel.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience implementing digital quality management systems (DQMS) or advanced analytics for quality improvement
- Proven ability to build and sustain a strong quality culture within an organization
- Knowledge of specific industry regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
