Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Laurel, Montana. This contract role is based in a school setting and focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student goals
- Manage cases by coordinating with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement intervention plans
- Monitor and review student progress and adjust services accordingly
- Provide consultation and support to school staff on behavioral and learning challenges
Desired Qualifications:
- Training and certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with conducting evaluations and managing IEP processes
- Strong case management skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of Montana state regulations related to special education
