Shift/Hours:
- Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement nursing care tailored to patients age and condition on assigned units
- Maintain efficient, safe, and high-quality care standards consistent with unit protocols
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines in a clean, well-ventilated healthcare environment
- Manage physical demands of patient care including patient positioning, transfers, and emergency response
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- NRP certification required and must be maintained without grace period for renewal
- Current clinical knowledge applicable to patient population served
- Strong communication skills adaptable to developmental patient needs
- Ability to work under stress and adapt to variable scheduling and emergencies
