What Is a Behavior Technician?


Think of yourself as a hands-on mentor, coach, and cheerleader for kids with Autism.

  • You’ll provide play-based, individualized therapy to help children communicate, learn, and build independence.
  • You’ll celebrate milestones — from washing hands independently to saying their first words.
  • You’ll work closely with an incredible team of BCBAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists who support you every step of the way.
  • You’ll help children build the skills they need to thrive and successfully transition into school settings.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting children ages 18 months–6 years old
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families
  • Teaching life skills through fun, engaging, play-based therapy
  • Collecting clinical data using provided technology
  • Educating parents on behavior therapy principles
  • Collaborating with clinical leadership to track progress and celebrate growth
  • Working in clinic, home, daycare, and school settings
  • Ensuring the safety, well-being, and dignity of every child you serve

Pay & Perks

  • $21–$30/hour, depending on ABA experience
  • Paid drive time between clients + mileage reimbursement

Requirements:

What You Need to Join Us

  • Availability Monday–Friday
    • 12:00 pm–6:00 pm
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation, valid U.S. driver’s license, and insurance
  • Ability to commute to Culver City clinic and client locations
  • Ability to lift/carry toys and materials (25–50 lbs)
  • Reliable, responsible, and committed to long-term employment

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience working with children or individuals with Autism
  • Have family coaching or special education experience
  • Speak Spanish or know American Sign Language
