DESCRIPTION

Experienced part time surgery scheduler needed for an office in Boca. The practice has multiple hand surgeons and one sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. Knowledge of insurance benefits is a must. Duties include but are not limited to; scheduling surgeries and tests for patients, also answering phone calls, verifying surgical insurance benefits, requesting authorizations/pre-certifications. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, efficient in surgical scheduling and have excellent communication skills. We are a very busy orthopedic practice with multiple surgeries scheduled every day.
