Sales Engineer
Position Overview
The Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products and services. This role focuses on driving sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction by providing tailored solutions, particularly in the field of turbomachinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities by leveraging technical expertise and understanding customer needs.
- Provide technical presentations and demonstrations of products to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions that meet client specifications.
- Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to effectively position products.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and providing support during the implementation of solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in sales or technical sales within the industrial automation industry
- Experience with Turbomachinery / Rotating Equipment preferred
- 5+ years of experience
