Job Details:
\n
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week guaranteed
\n• 13-week contract assignment starting as soon as possible
\n• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 4-6 patients (6 is not the norm but may be needed at times)
\n• Unit includes 2 ICU beds
\n• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
\n• No float requirements or on-call responsibilities
\n• Can pick up extra shifts when census allows
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Minimum 1 year of med surg/telemetry experience required
\n• Must pass 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia exam
\n• EPIC charting experience highly preferred
\n• Required certifications: Indiana or Compact nursing license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
\n• Skills include IV starts, medication passes, foley catheter insertion, NG tube feeding, ADLs, and IV drips
\n• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
\n• Set hours guaranteed per week except during holidays when unit may be closed
\n• Interview available Monday through Friday via MSP interview process
