Receptionist (Onsite only)
Location: Waltham, MA
Pay: 21-23/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, ideally 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST (30 minute lunch). Start/end times can be slightly flexible.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will provide crucial administrative support to staff, as well as serve as the gatekeeper of our Corporate Headquarters in Waltham, MA and the first point of contact for employees and guests. The incumbent will provide friendly, polite and professional assistance to employees and guests in person, over the phone and via email, serving as a general resource for incoming inquiries and assisting with special projects as needed. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to learn more about various aspects of a business, with many options for growth!
The hours for this role are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. This role is onsite-only with no option for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist clients, visitors, and employees upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Manage front-desk operations, including handling mail, packages, and correspondence.
- Coordinate meeting room schedules and assist with setup and cleanup for meetings or events.
- Provide administrative support such as preparing documents, updating records, and managing office supplies.
- Assist with travel and expense reporting systems (e.g., Concur) when needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, receptionist, or customer-facing role, preferably in a corporate office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with Concur is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
