About The Role

As a Director of Operational Excellence, you'll work with Zephyr companies to support top-line revenue growth and drive operational efficiencies by advising and helping implement best practices to reach and exceed performance goals. You'll work closely with the Zephyr VP of Operations, Head of Sales, and Customer Success Manager to identify the most immediate and impactful areas of improvement opportunities, and work with General Managers and brand-level leadership to create sustainable and scalable changes. In this role, you'll be a coach, mentor, and implementor to help address opportunities for improvement across sales, service, and cost control.

What You'll Do Here

  • Provide mentorship, coaching, direction, strategic guidance, and development to General Managers and Market Area leaders, working to ensure revenue and EBIDTA targets are met
  • Build a strong, cohesive, and collaborative cross-brand culture, sharing and leveraging opportunities and resources to achieve sustainable growth
  • Develop, prioritize, and implement operational plans and SOP's to help achieve profit and growth goals
  • Lead major change management initiatives, including new trade expansion, and strategic organizational alignment
  • Help integrate new business acquisitions by implementing Zephyr Operations playbook
  • Maintain a strong customer service focus and drive employee engagement
  • Work with Managers to build strong training programs – technical, service, and sales – to drive best-in-class customer experience and employee career growth
  • Be an absolute champion for sales; build a sales mindset in every team member
  • Ensure adherence of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws
  • Promote enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings, and 1:1's
  • Travel to our businesses 50% of the time

  • 15+ years of operations experience in residential home services
  • Prior P&L ownership and working across multiple locations and markets being preferred
  • You're a leader and strong competitor who excels in a fast-paced environment, driven by seizing opportunities

  • You set the standard and maintain the standard; you inspire people to want to be the best
  • You're able to consider strategic, financial, and operational capabilities with a high level of emotional intelligence to support a healthy, growing organization

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, risk analysis and develop solutions
  • Willingness to travel for work (50%)
