Job Description
This role involves leading a team of assemblers tasked with assembling custom HVAC units and industrial air filtration systems using blueprints and basic hand/power tools. The assembly lead will also identify areas of improvement within the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a team of assemblers in the production of custom HVAC units and industrial air filtration systems.
- Utilize blueprints and schematics to ensure precise assembly.
- Employ hand and power tools for effective mechanical assembly.
- Identify and implement improvements in the manufacturing process.
- Ensure adherence to Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical assembly.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of tape measure usage.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations.
- Understanding of Lean methodology.
- Ability to read schematics and perform wiring tasks.
- 1+ year of direct mechanical assembly experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in leading a team of assemblers.
- 5+ years of electromechanical experience.
- Experience with installation assembly and service technician tasks.
- Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical, and soldering.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and relatively quiet environment requiring safety glasses. The facility includes a main assembly area, fab area, and a warehouse area, with a well-equipped break room.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
