Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, behavioral, and social support to students in classrooms
• Assist students individually or in small groups under teacher guidance
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom engagement
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as applicable
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Georgia Paraprofessional Certification
• At least 18 years old
• Current TB test (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting tasks as needed
• Meet all required school background clearances or be willing to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented approach
