Supply Chain Surgery Center
Traveler will assist in the Surgery Center
Preferred experience is 2-3 years
Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designed and administered by Institute for supply management
Certified Materials & Resource Professional CMRP designed and administered by the American Hospital Associate
Skills: Knowledge of office equipment, Proficient computer skills, Data Entry, Math skills
Education: Bachelors degree in BA, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Communications
Seeking a Purchasing Clerk to manage inventory and processes purchase orders to ensure a company obtains necessary supplies and materials. Key responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, comparing product and price options, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring timely deliveries align with budgets and organizational needs. Typical qualifications include strong organizational and computer skills, particularly with spreadsheet software, along with excellent attention to detail and communication.
Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management:
Contacting, negotiating with, and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Inventory Control:
Maintaining accurate records of purchased items, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring timely replenishment of stock.

Record Keeping:
Documenting all purchase transactions, including prices, vendors, and delivery details.

Price Comparison:
Researching and comparing different suppliers and products to secure the best quality and prices.

Coordination:
Working with internal departments and suppliers to ensure purchasing activities meet company needs and deadlines.

Order Processing:
Creating, compiling, and submitting purchase orders for materials, products, and services.

Strong ability to manage tasks, deadlines, and vast amounts of information in a potentially fast-paced environment.

Competence in using word processing software, email, and spreadsheet programs like Excel to manage data and reports.
