Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Physical Therapist during the Extended School Year program near Taunton, MA. This role is designed for a dedicated professional who thrives in educational environments and is eager to make a difference for learners aged 4 to 22. The assignment runs from July 6th to August 6th, with a schedule of 2 to 3 days per week (Monday through Thursday), for three hours per day—offering meaningful work with flexibility and balance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educational teams, students, and families
- Adaptability to meet the varied needs of a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, focusing on individualized goals and functional mobility
- Assess student needs and develop evidence-based interventions to promote participation in school activities
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and other support staff to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
