Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (Full-Time)
Location: San Antonio, TX
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly compensation ($70.38)
Schedule: Full-time, 32–40 hours per week
About the Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative primary care team delivering high-quality, evidence-based healthcare. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Perform routine physical exams and manage patient appointments efficiently
- Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans
- Educate patients on preventive care, wellness strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Support patient engagement through health screenings and chronic condition programs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records (EHR)
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Assist with clinic operations, including opening/closing procedures and patient follow-up
Schedule & Flexibility
- Full-time position averaging 64 hours per two-week pay period
- Clinic shifts range from 7–10 hours during operating hours
- Rotating weekends required
- Flexibility to support nearby clinic locations as needed
- Availability to work select major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
- Current national board certification
- Active state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse
- Minimum of 1 year of recent primary care experience preferred
- Candidates without primary care experience must complete a structured training program
- Active BLS certification
- DEA registration required at time of offer
- High school diploma or GED
