Job DescriptionExperienced Tax Associate - Contract-to-Hire (Onsite | Downtown Seattle)

Location: Downtown Seattle, WA
Schedule: Fully Onsite
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Our client is seeking an Experienced Tax Associate to support individual and business tax preparation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (individual, partnership, corporate)
  • Conduct tax research and assist with year-end planning
  • Support audits and respond to tax authority inquiries
  • Analyze financial data and ensure accurate, timely filings
  • Maintain organized, compliant documentation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of tax preparation experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
  • Experience with tax prep software
  • Detail-oriented with strong Excel and communication skills

Preferred:

  • CPA or CPA-eligible
  • Multi-state tax experience

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
