Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment. This role involves working closely with students requiring specialized instructional strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student progress.
  • Utilize adaptive teaching methodologies and assistive technologies.
  • Monitor and document student achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings.
  • Travel to multiple school sites as required to serve various classrooms and programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid California teaching credential with a specialization in Special Education.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Commitment to student advocacy and individualized instruction.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to different school locations.

Location:
