Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support diverse learners in a dynamic school environment. This role involves working closely with students requiring specialized instructional strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure student progress.
- Utilize adaptive teaching methodologies and assistive technologies.
- Monitor and document student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings.
- Travel to multiple school sites as required to serve various classrooms and programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid California teaching credential with a specialization in Special Education.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
