Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, applying the nursing process, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. The nurse prioritizes patient care, educates patients and caregivers, and ensures effective communication with all stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities in patient experience, quality and safety, operations, and professional development.
Required Qualifications
• NYS RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 2 years of cardiology, telemetry, or VAD experience
• 1 year of travel experience (for travel positions only)
• EPIC experience highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program
