Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exceptional opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Washington, DC. This contract position offers hands-on experience working onsite with a diverse student population and is ideal for a clinician passionate about pediatrics and school-based therapy.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Comfort and proficiency delivering both in-person and teletherapy services
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion or current CFY status preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and healthcare professionals

Location:

  • Washington, DC position based onsite within a K-12 school environment

Position Details:

  • Contract role covering a maternity leave period from January 5, 2026, to June 17, 2026
  • Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week, with possibility of up to 24 hours weekly
  • Focus on delivering tailored speech therapy services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
  • Provide direct speech therapy services using evidence-based techniques
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and regulatory requirements
