At SpaceX, we are committed to ensuring the service remains a force for good and sustains trust worldwide: both connecting the unconnected and executing thorough processes to detect and prevent misuse by illicit operators. We are looking for an experienced professional to detect, disrupt, and investigate potential misuse of the service—including proactively combating and deterring illicit operators. This person must strike the careful balance of safeguarding customer information and privacy while applying enforcement measures and executing with an even-handed approach, avoiding overreach and disproportionate collateral impacts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 12+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations in lieu of a degree</li>
<li>6+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R)</li>
<li>6+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities)</li>

<li>Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance or willingness to pursue an Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance preferred</li>

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

<li>Ability to travel as needed for business (15%)</li>
<li>This position is based in Bastrop, TX and requires being onsite—remote work not considered</li>
<li>Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed</li>
