Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: New York, NY
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3 x 11.5-Hour Shifts
Hours: 34.5 Hours per Week
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiac Cath Lab contract assignment in New York, NY. The RN will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
- Assist with conscious sedation monitoring and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams during procedures
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State RN License
- Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration from NYSED
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
- IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience
- Conscious Sedation experience
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
