We're hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 13-week contract with an established mail-order specialty pharmacy located just outside Nashville. Responsibilities:
- Process prescriptions in a high-volume mail-order pharmacy environment
- Assist with medication dispensing and prescription fulfillment
- Verify shipping information and patient demographics
- Enter and update patient profiles within the pharmacy management system
- Provide customer service support for pharmacy patients
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily
- Utilize the WellSky pharmacy system
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration
- Pharmacy technician experience in a retail, mail-order, specialty, or similar pharmacy setting
- Experience with pharmacy software systems (WellSky experience is a plus)
- Strong data entry and customer service skills
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- PTCB certification required for candidates seeking permanent employment
- Ability to start ASAP
