A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the spring term, from March 1, 2026, to June 5, 2026, located in Wilkes Barre, PA. This role focuses on supporting early childhood education within a school setting, providing an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' communication and developmental skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 130 evaluations for early childhood children aged 4 to 5 years.
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with school policies.
- Ensure all services align with speech-language pathology standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with early childhood populations in a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of current SLP best practices and assessment tools.
