Job DescriptionBefore / After School Group Leader/Group Leader AssistantSchedule: Monday-Friday! AM and PM shifts available. AM: 6:30 am - 8:30 am and/or PM: 2:30 pm-6:00 pm Locations: Various elementary schools within the Poudre School DistrictLooking to gain leadership experience while you're in school?AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.As an AlphaBEST Group Leader, you'll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.We're looking for an early learning professional who:Enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environmentTakes child safety seriously and follows procedures closelyIs flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever neededIn this role, you will:Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts)Make child safety the top priority at all timesKeep the space clean and organizedHelp create an environment where kids feel supported and includedBuild strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staffRequirements:Must be at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+)Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needsMust be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulationsProof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulationsPay & Benefits:$15.25-$16.25 per hour (depending on experience)Part-time benefits, including health, are availableEmployee referral program Deep discounts on program tuition for dependents At AlphaBEST, we believe in boosting your potential.
