Value Stream Manager | Kentwood, MI
Salary Range: $105,000 - $152,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize the entire value stream from raw material to customer delivery.
- Identify and eliminate waste and non-value-adding activities within the value stream.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve flow, reduce lead times, and increase throughput.
- Manage and develop cross-functional teams to achieve value stream goals and KPIs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for the value stream, such as OEE, cycle time, and inventory turns.
- Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, supply chain, and sales, to ensure alignment and seamless operation.
- Champion a culture of quality and operational excellence throughout the value stream.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience in value stream mapping and optimization within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S).
- Demonstrated ability to identify and eliminate waste, improve flow, and reduce lead times.
- Experience with performance metrics and KPIs related to production efficiency and quality.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques to drive continuous improvement.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- - Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, Arena)
- - Proven track record of implementing Industry 4.0 technologies
- - Strong understanding of supply chain optimization principles
