- Patient Ratios: 1:6-7\n
\n\nJob Requirements\n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — NH license required or Compact RN license eligible\n
- Minimum 1 year of recent psychiatric nursing experience (inpatient psychiatric / behavioral health)\n
- Experience managing IEA/Involuntary status and higher-acuity psychiatric patients\n
- Completion of one of the following trainings required: CPI, MOAB, or AVADE\n
- Restraint chair experience preferred\n
- EPIC (EPIC EMR) experience preferred — experience with psychiatric documentation and medication administration\n
\n\nResponsibilities\n

- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adults in an inpatient psychiatric setting\n
- Perform psychiatric assessments, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring of behavioral health patients\n
- Manage patients with involuntary status (IEA) and higher acuity needs using evidence-based nursing interventions\n
- Apply de-escalation techniques and restraint chair/physical intervention per policy when necessary\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
- Document care and interventions accurately and timely in EPIC EMR\n
- Maintain safe patient ratios and uphold high standards of clinical care and safety\n
