Qualifications & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Wyoming Registered Nurse License
- Appropriate WY State Department of Education Permit
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience as a School Nurse or in a pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and assessment skills
- Ability to manage confidential information and respond to health emergencies effectively
- Proficiency in health screenings, medication administration, and state immunization compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care, consultation, and health education to students and staff
- Maintain health records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations
- Assist in developing student-specific healthcare plans as needed
- Respond to emergency medical situations on campus
- Serve as a trusted health resource for students, staff, and families
