Controller
A dynamic, growing company needs a financial professional to join and support the management team. Our client provides an exciting and fast-paced environment to work in as well as competitive compensation and performance incentives. The Controller reports to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the accounting team in recording, evaluation and reporting of financial performance.
· Lead the payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable team members helping integrate and improve company processes through teamwork and collaboration.
· Coach and mentor the team using best practices to process transactions through completion.
· A hands-on task manager processing transactions each day alongside the accounting team members.
· Lead and direct the Human Resource function for the business meeting company standards.
· Responsible for the company’s Cash Management.
· Responsible for Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable.
· Payroll & Benefits Management and Oversee payroll tax deductions & payments.
· Control costs for all businesses in the enterprise.
· Manage Company Assets.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is Required.
· Three (3) years’ experience as a Controller in contracting business.
· Intimate knowledge of cash management, financial analysis and planning, budgeting, proforma projections and other financial applications
- Verifiable experience working with entrepreneurial owners providing sound accounting practices and financial management
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Ability to systemize self and others
