This is a fantastic opportunity for pharmacists seeking a short-term travel role in an Inpatient Hospitalsetting.This position offers a fast-paced environment, virtual interviews, and the chance to make a direct impact on patient care.
Position Overview
- Title: Travel Pharmacist
- Location: Montana (travel assistance provided)
- Setting: Inpatient Pharmacy
- Software: EPIC
- Employment Type: Contract
- Shift: M-F, Day Shift, On Call Hours TBD
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications
- Compound medications as needed following USP 797 guidelines
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure efficient, compliant operations
- Maintain adherence to federal and state pharmacy regulations
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacist license
- 1+ year of Inpatient pharmacy experience
- Ability to work required shifts/hours
- Experience using EPIC required
- Willingness to begin once onboarding/compliance is complete
