Schedule:
- Primarily day shifts
- 8-hour shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, varying by department needs
- Call requirement approximately 10-12 days per month
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and open heart surgery procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
- Nursing background with specialized skills in operating room technology
Responsibilities:
- Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all protocols and safety standards are met
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams to prepare instruments and equipment for complex procedures
- Provide support during open heart surgeries, maintaining a sterile and efficient operating environment
- Respond to call duties effectively during assigned days to support surgery scheduling
